In 2025, Bovis Middle East was commissioned for a large-scale project dedicated to the installation of artworks in a luxury hotel in Dubai, as part of the opening of the Delano Hotel Dubai, located on the iconic Bluewaters Island.
This project forms part of a comprehensive high-end fit-out and decoration approach, in which art, furniture, and accessories play a central role in shaping the guest experience.
Installing artworks in a prestigious hotel requires perfectly controlled logistics, from the origin of each piece through to final installation. For the Delano Hotel Dubai, the artworks and accessories were sourced from several countries, requiring rigorous international coordination.
The Bovis Middle East teams handled:
This end-to-end approach ensures the security, traceability, and preservation of artworks with high artistic and heritage value.
Upon arrival in Dubai, all artworks and accessories were handled in a secure, air-conditioned warehouse specifically designed for the storage of sensitive items.
Operations included:
This preparatory work is essential for any luxury hotel art installation project, where timelines are tight and aesthetic requirements are exceptionally high.
Some artworks required secure, climate-controlled storage to align deliveries with the progress of the works and the availability of hotel spaces.
Mastery of temporary storage ensures seamless coordination between decoration teams, interior designers, and on-site installation crews.
This storage capability is a key asset for FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) logistics and high-end hotel fit-out projects in Dubai.
The final phase of the project involved on-site delivery and the installation of artworks within the luxury hotel.
Bovis Middle East teams worked throughout the rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas of the Delano Hotel Dubai, in close coordination with other trades involved in the project.
The services delivered included:
A final quality inspection was carried out after installation to meet the client’s extremely high standards in terms of finishes and visual presentation, fully in keeping with this new iconic hotel.
Beyond the guestrooms and public areas, Bovis Middle East was also entrusted with the art installation for the hotel’s most exclusive and experiential spaces: the Delano Penthouse, Tutto Passa Restaurant, and The Rose Bar.
Occupying the entire seventh floor, the five-bedroom Delano Penthouse represents the pinnacle of ultra-luxury resort living in Dubai.
For this exceptional residence, a curated selection of artworks, accessories, and books was sourced and installed to complement its refined interior design. Bespoke commissioned works by international artists including Sarah Ibrahim, Carla Freschi, Demi Overton, Christoph Schrein, and Hussain Jamil were carefully handled and positioned alongside decorative accessories and curated book collections.
The bespoke artworks reinforce the penthouse’s exclusive atmosphere, while photography from the iconic Delano Miami is celebrated throughout the space, strengthening the brand’s legacy. Every installation required meticulous attention to detail to preserve both artistic integrity and the exceptional finishes of the penthouse environment.
Bovis Middle East also managed the installation of art, accessories, and books within the hotel’s signature dining and nightlife venues.
At Tutto Passa, inspired by the charm of the Amalfi Coast, curated artworks and decorative elements enhance the venue’s light, breezy, day-to-night ambiance.
At The Rose Bar, glamorous yet unpretentious elegance is reflected through carefully selected accessories and artistic pieces that echo the venue’s chic and vibrant energy.
Each installation required precise coordination to respect the design intent and create refined, immersive atmospheres aligned with the distinctive identity of each space.
The scope of the project covered art and accessories for 250 rooms and suites, as well as public areas such as the lobby and circulation spaces.
In total, 2,379 pieces were carefully selected and integrated into the project.
The artistic curation combines:
Each piece contributes to an atmosphere of understated elegance, blending modernity, natural textures, and regional influences within a distinctly high-end hospitality environment.
