The operation began with the reception of the transformer components at our agency’s facilities:

• 1 transformer (dimensions: 4550 x 2950 x 2800 mm – weight: 21,770 kg)
• 2 radiator pallets
• 2 oil containers
• 1 enclosure

Once assembled, the transformer was moved out of the warehouse and loaded using a mobile crane for exceptional transport.
The journey from Rousset to Manosque required meticulous organization and strict compliance with the regulations for oversized transport.
Thanks to optimized planning, delivery was completed safely and on time.

On-Site Installation: Precision and Safety

Upon arrival at the site in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, our teams implemented a specific setup to ensure the safe installation of the transformer:

• Installation of wooden decking in front of the façade opening
• Placement of two 180 mm U-beams in front of the access door, aligned with existing structures
• Fixing of two ear-plate anchors on the wall, equipped with turnbuckles to guide and secure the maneuvering

A 100-ton mobile crane was then used to unload the 27-ton transformer in front of its dedicated housing.
Once lifted, the transformer was positioned onto rolling systems for precise movement.
Finally, the turnbuckles enabled millimeter-level adjustments, in line with the client’s instructions.
