Art Relocation from Nantes to Saint-Malo in Brittany

A Joint Operation by Bovis Atlantique (Nantes) and Bovis Fine Art Île-de-France

From June 23 to July 1, 2025, the Bovis Group demonstrated the strength of its network and the complementarity of its agencies during the repatriation of a museum collection stored in Nantes since 2021. Thanks to the seamless collaboration between our Bovis Atlantique branch and the Fine Art division in the Paris region, nearly 80 heritage pieces were safely transported, delivered, and reinstalled in the newly renovated reserves of the Saint-Malo Museum.

Tailor-Made Logistics Expertise

This project showcases Bovis Group’s comprehensive know-how in specialized logistics:

• Loading of large and delicate pieces at our secure facility in Nantes
• Coordination of 6 truck rotations (50 m³ each) between Loire-Atlantique and Ille-et-Vilaine
• Delivery, handling, and placement on specialized racks at destination
• Crane-assisted lifting for two monumental items: a 600-kg metal anchor and a multi-meter figurehead

The operation required the use of our most suitable technical equipment: 3T forklift, electric stacker, crane arm, climate-controlled trucks, and a skilled team of four experienced handlers/drivers.
