Handling and Transport of Sculpture in Toulouse: A Tailor-Made Mission for Les Abattoirs Museum

Fine Art Midi Pyrénées recently carried out a major technical operation in Toulouse at Les Abattoirs Museum, as part of the exhibition Le Musée Imaginaire d’Oli. The project involved the handling, custom packing, transport, and reinstallation of the monumental sculpture L’Auto-Auteur, a steel sheet artwork by artist Jean Jullien.

High-Precision Art Handling

The specialized team at Fine Art Midi Pyrénées designed a custom platform to ensure the sculpture's protection and stability throughout the entire operation. Using our truck equipped with a 100-ton crane arm, we successfully removed the sculpture from the museum courtyard, transported it safely, and installed it at its new exhibition site.
