Industrial Transfer from Alfortville to Noisy-le-Grand: Bonal Demonstrates Its Expertise Through a Precise and Efficient Operation

Bonal, a specialist in industrial relocation in the Île-de-France region, recently completed the full transfer of a production workshop from Alfortville (Val-de-Marne, 94) to Noisy-le-Grand (Seine-Saint-Denis, 93). This three-day operation mobilized all the expertise of our teams in heavy handling, industrial logistics, and access management, perfectly illustrating our know-how in relocating workshops and production units.

A Multi-Phase Transfer: Precision, Planning, and Coordination

From the feasibility study onward, our teams implemented a meticulously organized process to ensure a smooth operation without disrupting the client’s activity. Four Bonal handlers were assigned to this project, supported by a tail lift truck, a forklift, a stacker, and a crane arm, along with a specialized partner for manual handling over two days.

The diversity and weight of the equipment to be relocated called for rigorous planning, as the project involved several large industrial lathes and furnaces, as well as numerous cabinets, storage units, workbenches, and technical furniture.

Equipment Transferred: A Substantial Industrial Inventory

The complexity of the operation lay in the volume, weight, and variety of equipment to be handled:

• 8 industrial lathes (up to 2,500 mm long and 1,000 kg)
• 5 industrial furnaces, including a main unit weighing 1,200 kg
• 1 oven (Ø 1000 mm, 300 kg)
• 1 tank, 1 compressor, 1 column drill, 2 small lathes on tables
• Over 20 industrial furniture pieces: cabinets, tables, storage units, technical furniture, etc.
• 1 dismantled mezzanine, transferred in separate components

Each piece was identified, secured, handled with suitable lifting equipment, then loaded, transported, and reinstalled at the Noisy-le-Grand site according to the layout plan established with the client.

Logistics Expertise and Heavy Handling Management

Thanks to our latest-generation handling equipment and specialized tools (forklifts, stackers, crane arms, etc.), we were able to complete this project on schedule while ensuring the safety of both assets and personnel. Our collaboration with a trusted subcontractor allowed for secure manual handling of bulky items in restricted-access areas.

All operations were carried out in full compliance with industrial safety standards and without disrupting the client’s business continuity.
